Common questions about our community.

Finding Clarity and Hope

We understand that the road to recovery is often filled with uncertainty. At Still Worthy, we believe you are not a summary of your mistakes, but a person of immense value. To help you or your loved one feel confident in this next step, we have gathered answers to the most common questions about our program and our approach to healing.

Our program is built on three fundamental pillars: Spirituality, Purpose, and Community. We focus on building a relationship with Christ, discovering a life-driven by purpose, and fostering lifelong friendships built on empathy. We believe that by addressing the root causes of addiction through grace and dignity, we can achieve lasting transformation.

This intensive foundation phase focuses on building a solid structure for your new life. Residents participate in a daily recovery curriculum that includes evidence-based mental health support, fitness and wellness sessions to boost emotional resilience, and structured peer-led meetings. It is designed to help you move past shame and rediscover your true identity.

Yes. We are a certified program of The South Carolina Alliance for Recovery Residences (SCARR) and an affiliate of The National Association of Recovery Residences (NARR). These certifications ensure that we uphold the highest standards of safety, ethics, and care for recovery housing in the United States.

We do. We recognize that recovery is more than just sobriety; it is about rebuilding your life. We provide practical support for legal challenges, including help with court appearances and paperwork. For employment, we offer guidance on resume building, job applications, and assistance in restoring essential items like driver's licenses.

We believe physical wellness is vital to mental health. Our curriculum includes regular fitness and wellness components designed to release endorphins and alleviate symptoms of depression and anxiety. This holistic approach helps our residents gain a sense of accomplishment and improved overall health.

Lack of transportation should never be a barrier to success. We provide reliable transportation for all residents to ensure they can attend recovery meetings, mental health counseling, and essential legal appointments throughout the Charleston area.

Recovery is a journey, not a destination. Following Phase One, we provide ongoing sober living support and post-treatment services. We focus on long-term reintegration, helping residents transition to independent living while maintaining accountability and connection to our supportive community.

Seating includes a dark brown leather sofa in the foreground and a brown fabric sofa in the background. A stone-topped coffee table sits in the center. To the left is a white door with a window, and the ceiling is equipped with a brass ceiling fan and recessed lighting. A poster on the wall reads "STILL WORTHY despite suffering."
